The week before Spring Break, we focused our learning on how plants grow and what they need to grow. The MWF class colored a cute and easy book about the stages of plant growth. Here is one of the kiddos books they colored.
We practiced reading this book during circle time also with them pointing to the words as we read them together.
Since we were getting ready to go on Spring Break, we decided to wait to plant seeds until after we were back because no one would be there to water them.
Ms. T also planned to do marble painting with the TTH class and make umbrellas. They turned out so cute!
The MWF class also made tissue paper Easter eggs but putting a piece of tissue paper on the end of a pencil and sticking it on the paper with glue. Some of them caught on and some of them didn't. It was a good try though.
As a side note, please keep my best friend, Jaime Vrudney and her husband, Ryan, and their 5 kiddos in your prayers. Ryan was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer last week. It is stressful and nerve-wracking and upsetting and scary.
I will try to post as much as possible but I will also be helping her in any way that I can so...family is first over blogging :)
Have a great week!
